Across eight European markets, data is created every day: from our EAP counselling, from the Lifestyle Check - our on-site health checkup - and from our digital services. We want to make more of that data: reliable reporting our clients can view live, dependable numbers for our own decisions, and AI-supported services for our users. For this we are looking for someone who does not just analyse data, but takes ownership of the entire chain - from the device that measures, to the dashboard the client sees.
Your job: You will become our central point of contact for data. You will take over responsibility for the technical chain behind the Lifestyle Check, build our client and EAP reporting, and set up our Mavie AI bot. The initial focus is on taking ownership of the Lifestyle Check systems; from there the role shifts increasingly towards reporting, analysis and AI.

Your mission
Ownership Lifestyle Check – lab systems
- Taking over and owning the software that connects our medical measurement devices to the platform - a Python application running on the on-site PC that drives around 10 devices via serial interfaces, Bluetooth, network and file exchange.
- A structured handover from our departing colleague: together with him and the actual devices, until you can run a complete checkup on your own.
- Operation, maintenance and further development: connecting new devices, handling firmware and Windows updates, rolling out releases to the sites.
- Troubleshooting problems that occur at one site only - including occasional travel to our locations.
- Securing and documenting the systems so that they can be maintained by more than one person in the long run.
- Building and operating our client reporting - including live dashboards our clients can access themselves.
- Reporting for our EAP services: usage, impact and development across markets.
- Turning Lifestyle Check results into meaningful company reports.
- Internal analyses as a basis for decisions in product, sales and management.
- Designing and setting up our Mavie AI bot - from choosing the building blocks to running it in production.
- Connecting our own content and data so that the bot gives factually correct answers that are relevant to our users.
- Quality assurance: measuring how well the bot actually performs, and improving it continuously.
- Close collaboration with our specialist departments and data protection - a health context comes with particular requirements.
- Ownership of the reliability of our numbers: spotting when a value is wrong before anyone bases a decision on it.
- Careful handling of health data - data protection and security are not a formality here.
- Collaboration with our development team and with specialist departments across eight markets.
Your profile
Must-haves
- Strong Python skills - you can find your way into unfamiliar, grown code.
- Experience with hardware integration - serial interfaces, Bluetooth, TCP; you can read a device protocol and understand what is happening on the wire.
- Strong SQL and experience building reporting and dashboards.
- Analytical rigour - you spot questionable data before it ends up in a report.
- Debugging without a reproduction - problems reach us as "it didn't work in Munich on Tuesday".
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our sites, and enjoyment of working with real devices.
- Good English (collaboration in an international team).
- Windows engineering - services, packaging, installers, firewall; our application runs unattended on the on-site PCs.
- Experience with AI/LLM applications - RAG, prompting, evaluation; or a clear appetite to learn it.
- BI tools such as Metabase, Looker or Power BI.
- Python for data analysis - pandas, notebooks.
- Embedded basics - ESP32, Arduino, flashing firmware.
- Statistical modelling (scikit-learn) to develop our health scores further.
- Security awareness - patching, handling secrets, dependency management.

- The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 65,000 gross on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications, experience, and the level of managerial and commercial responsibility, we offer overpay in line with current market rates.
